Neoclassical mension in Transylvania

According to historical sources, the owner of the 19th-century Neoclassical mension, Dániel Mihály, was a descendant of the Armenian Dániel family in Gherla, and the castle and estate were probably bought by him. In 1949, at the time of the nationalization of the property, Dániel Mihály's son was the second owner. The main building on the hill, as well as the other adjacent staff buildings, were built in the 19th century. Apart from the main building, well positioned with pilasters and the Neoclassical tympanum, the rest of the annexes have undergone numerous transformations over the years.

The mansion was built after 1850 in neoclassical style, having been bought from an Armenian family. The mansion was nationalized in 1948 from the property of Dániel Elemer, who was the son of Dániel Mihály. After nationalization, it became the property of the state, one of the IAS Seuca farms was created.
In 1990, the mansion was claimed by the descendants of the Dániel family. It was later bought by Erich Johann Jikeli and his brother. The building was already in an advanced stage of decay. For a long time there were only a few offices and three rooms in the mansion. Step by step the Mansion was transformed into a Boutique Hotel away from the bustle of the city, in a place where you can still live pampered like the noble families of old. The mansion is surrounded by beautiful gardens and parks, where only organic certified vegetables and fruits are grown.
